Triphibian – beings that live at sea, on land and in the air.
With the constant need to adapt to new environment geographically as well as digitally, the Triphibian look keeps evolving throughout the journey.
Being another experiment of designer Yifan Pu to combine fantasy and sci-fi, this look mixes femininity with elements of activewear.
The first form, which is the mermaid look, consists of a metallic headpiece, a blooming chiffon top, an ivory knit dress and an illuminated tail. The 3d knit on the tail end is inspired by Chinese paper lanterns.
In the second form, the tail has transformed into sneakers with illuminated inner bubbles. While in the third form, as part of a jumpsuit, tails appear again to indicate a cycle of transformation.
